Our College Help Program provides paid part-time undergraduate positions focused on setting students up for success. Our program also provides students with the opportunity to earn college credits. We are a small insurance carrier located in Wayne, PA., and we also have many positions available in our branch offices throughout the U.S. and Canada (Mission Viejo, CA; San Ramon, CA; Austin, TX; Denver, CO; Oak Brook, IL; Boise, ID; St. Louis, MO; and Mississauga, Canada).
Our goal at USLI is to strengthen our community and culture by representing all races, genders, religions and sexual orientations, and the students who represent our College Help Program are an important part of working toward that goal.
We are currently accepting applications for students who are able to begin working during the fall 2023 semester.
Note: Our hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where legally permissible, USLI requires all new hires to have received all primary series doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (defined as two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or Novavax vaccines, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine), unless an accommodation is required for religious or medical reasons. As a condition of employment, all new hires, where legally permissible, will be required to provide proof of all primary series doses of the COVID-19 vaccinations or submit a request for medical or religious exemption within 48 hours of accepting an offer of employment. This requirement is not applicable to residents of AL, AR, FL, IN, IA, MT, ND, SC, TN, TX, WV and UT (i.e., “exempt states”). To support the safety of our community and help prevent severe disease USLI strongly recommends that all applicants and employees stay up to date with all CDC recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, including boosters.
We offer a variety of opportunities that help prepare students for their professional careers after college regardless of major/area of study. The work our students perform is extremely valuable to us and is oftentimes very similar to work performed by our full-time employees. Please see more detailed descriptions of the type of work students do in each department and the skillset necessary.

Our plan was designed to help students pay down their student loans. This plan is a required benefit for any student who has federal or private loans. We will direct a portion of the student's earnings toward paying down this debt. Over four years, a student could earn up to $21,000 tax-free to repay their student loans.
Students with federal and/or private education loans as documented by the financial aid certification form, will be a part of the USLI College Help Qualified Educational Assistance Plan. In addition to their hourly wage, these students will earn $3.25 per hour worked satisfactorily in the form of a qualified educational assistance grant, up to $5,250 each calendar year.
